A global digital platform for Kiwa

Kiwa is developing a new global website platform on Optimizely. The aim is to bring its digital presence together across 40 countries and support continued international growth.

Kiwa is one of the world’s leading companies within testing, inspection and certification. With more than 10,000 employees and operations across Europe, Asia, the Americas and Oceania, the organisation is complex both geographically and structurally.

For an organisation operating in 40 countries, the digital platform must work across languages, markets and organisational structures. It must accommodate local needs while maintaining a clear global direction.

The new solution is being developed on Optimizely, using a shared structure that combines central governance with local flexibility. We are providing advisory services and technical delivery in close collaboration with Kiwa’s international organisation.

The project is being delivered together with our sister companies Northern Beat and Pineberry, which contribute expertise in design and digital visibility. The aim is to establish a robust and scalable platform that can support Kiwa’s continued development over time.

One platform for many markets

For international organisations, finding the right balance between global control and local autonomy is essential.

With Optimizely as its foundation, Kiwa’s digital presence is being brought together within one shared architecture. Local markets will still be able to adapt content and structure where needed. This supports a more consistent global brand and makes it easier to manage content across countries.

For companies operating in multiple markets, the choice of platform is a strategic decision. The platform must support the organisational structure, expansion into new markets and future acquisitions. It must also be flexible enough to evolve with the business.

A partnership for organisations with international ambitions

Our partnership with Kiwa illustrates the requirements involved when a digital platform must work across borders. Structure, permissions and technology decisions must be considered from the outset.

For organisations with international ambitions, it is important to work with a partner that understands both the organisation and the platform. With extensive experience from complex Optimizely projects, we work closely with our clients to develop solutions that meet current needs and support future growth.
