Backend developer

Epinova is a Nordic consulting company that develops websites and solutions for digital commerce for some of Norway's largest players. We help our customers achieve digital success through the development of scalable technical solutions, visual concepts, digital consultancy and strategy.

Today, we have a central position with some of Norway's largest players in digital commerce. You will therefore get to work broadly with different brands and companies, whichwill give you a unique experience and opportunity to build your expertise.

About the role

With us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team with other experts and specialists in test, concept development, UX design and architecture. You get to work on many advanced tasks such as handling challenges with scaling, resilience and performance. In addition to working with integration of business-critical systems such as ERP, CRM, payment solutions and PIM.

• Development of technical solutions for digital commerce and websites
• Write code in C# and implement cloud-native applications in the .NET Core platform, taking advantage of Azure services for hosting and scalability
• Develop and integrate backend services that support service platform functionality, including data management, authentication, and API connections
• Provide guidance and support to other team members, such as junior developers, by sharing knowledge about development, best practices and support towards achieving trap goals
• Identify and resolve bugs, perform troubleshooting to ensure reliability continuously during development and production

Some examples of what we do are developing cloud-based web solutions for Statnett, where we had to ensure that strict security requirements were taken into account with their well over 3000 web pages. We have delivered e-commerce solution to Fargerike which enabled them to offer complex customer guidance online. For many years, we have been a technological partner to and developed new websites for the Olav Thon Group and their 90 shopping centres in the Nordic region. We've also transformed the website of the Norwegian Board of Health with our interface magic and given them a much-needed digital boost with smart technology and creative freedom.

The academic environment, QA framework and quality

We have a well-developed QA framework and a lot of experience in the codebase. This experience means that you don't have to reinvent the wheel, but can extract the knowledge you need and focus on solving the real problems.

We work in agile multidisciplinary development teams responsible for the entire life cycle of what we create. Who do we hope you are?

• You have 4+ years of experience as a backend or fullstack developer
• You will work with C#/.NET, Azure DevOps and other tools
• You are committed to keeping abreast of new technology and delivering quality
• As a person, we hope you have a high degree of implementation ability and are motivated by creating valuable solutions
• You are curious and humble about new ideas, and consider yourself a team player
• We have a Norwegian-speaking working environment. You must therefore master written and oral Norwegian
